Fans wonder if Travis Kelce will react as Taylor Swift files a cease and desist against Kanye West

Kanye West’s tweets have caused his friends, family and collaborators much grief in the past few weeks. Recently he took to X to make some shocking claims about Taylor Swift who already shares a rocky relationship with him. X users were quick to call out Kanye’s tweet as sexist, disgusting and vulgar. And Taylor Swift Taylor Swift is reportedly taking a firm stand against Kanye as she has filed a cease and desist against the controversial rapper, who has consistently directed attacks at her. Now fans are wondering how Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce will react to this situation and if he will address Kanye at all.
In his latest lengthy and unpredictable tirade on social media platform X, Kanye who also goes by Ye, expressed explicit opinions during an hours-long rant. His post claimed that Harry Styles Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift had engaged in a sexual encounter once. West added, “ON EVERYTHING THIS TWEET IS ONE THOUSAND PERCENT TRUE.”
Taylor Swift is reportedly taking legal action against Kanye West, which some are calling a bombshell move. A source has told the press that this time Kanye may not be excused for his behaviour as his claims are not only false but also defamatory. The source added, “This isn’t merely gossip; this is [West] sexually harassing a woman, defaming her, and intending to harm her and her career.”
The insider stressed that West’s recent defamatory remarks left Taylor with no choice but to act. The cease and desist serves as a formal notice and a final warning, compelling Kanye to immediately cease his harmful behaviour before any more serious legal action is taken. Travis Kelce, the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs have never publicly talked about Kanye or the rapper’s rocky history with Taylor Swift.

Travis has even actively shut down questions related to Kanye. During a media briefing in February Kelce was asked by a social media expert, "I know you're dating Taylor, but do you have any Kanye on your hype playlist?" Kelce responded with a firm ‘no’ and moved on from the conversation.
However things have escalated this time and chances are Travis will feel obligated to address the situation since Ye’s tweets was hugely disrespectful to Taylor. It’s important to note that Taylor herself has been publicly silent about the Kanye situation, eventhough the rapper name-called her in one of his songs. So, chances are Taylor will urge Travis to follow her footsteps and not talk about Kanye publicly much like other A-listers like Jay-Z and Beyonce have done after being dissed by Kanye on X.
