Cam Skattebo is here to hit hard and create history with the Giants

As a newbie to the big league, Skattebo’s recent videos of him doing field practices with fellow rookies have been catching attention. Not being new to the game, the Giants' RB rookie has been on point with his athleticism and on-ground presence. With a lot to prove ahead, Skattebo recently spoke with Pro Football Talk reporters to shed some light on his future vision after entering a bigger league; he stated, “How many snaps of the NFL have you seen me play?” Skattebo asked during rookie camp. “Zero, right? I’ve proved nothing. I’ve proved what I am in college, but I’ve proved nothing at this level. So now, where I’m at, I have to prove myself, and if that’s for five years or if that’s for 10 years, I’m going to continue to prove myself.”
Skattebo stated, “I’ve worked 18 years to get to this moment. I’m on an NFL team now, and I still have more to prove.” He continued, “It feels good when you get in the end zone, but imagine running someone over and then running another person over and then getting in the end zone. When you’re physical, it shows the work you put in in the weight room and how much you do to make your game better.”A 5-foot-9 and 219-lb. Skattebo has a long journey to be one of the best running backs in the history of the NFL, but his confident approach towards the future can promise a meaningful role in the Giants’ offense.
