Harjit Singh Dhadda, a Sikh businessman, was shot dead in Mississauga, Ontario.
The Lawrence Bishnoi group claimed responsibility for the killing, accusing Dhadda of aiding a rival.

Dhadda was approached by assailants near his office and shot approximately 20 times.
Witnesses reported seeing gunmen exit a parked car before fleeing the scene.
Context of Violence
"This will be the fate of whoever supports our enemy," said Rohit Godara, an aide of Bishnoi.
Dhadda was linked to a bail bond for Khalistan Tiger Force chief Arsh Dalla.
