Ravi Mohan ‘Live and Let Live’." Ravi Mohan expressed disappointment over how, in a time when the nation faces larger issues, personal matters are being dissected in public forums. “It is heartbreaking to see my private life twisted and misrepresented,” he said. Clarifying that his silence was not a sign of weakness but a form of survival, Ravi Mohan said he could no longer stay quiet when his character and integrity were questioned by people who don’t know his journey.
Marriage struggles and painful experiences revealed
The actor candidly opened up about the physical, emotional, mental, and financial struggles he endured over the years in his marriage. Despite making efforts to save and heal the relationship, he reached a point where a final decision was unavoidable. “For many years, I lived in isolation,” he noted. Ravi also warned that he would not tolerate anyone trying to exploit his past marriage for personal benefit or attention. Reaffirming his trust in the legal process, he stated that he believes truth will eventually prevail.
Plea for privacy and misinterpretation of silence
Ravi Mohan mentioned that he has informed his family and close friends about his divorce decision and emphasized the importance of respecting everyone’s privacy, including his ex-wife's. However, he observed that his silence is being misconstrued as guilt. Public narratives are questioning his role as a father based on recent appearances. “I firmly deny these fabricated claims. I’ve always stood for truth,” he asserted.
Concerns over children and hope for understanding
Ravi Mohan expressed deep pain seeing his children being used in the public eye, possibly for financial gain. He revealed that beyond a court-sanctioned Christmas visit, all communication had been cut off. Shockingly, he found out about their car accident only a month later. “No father deserves this,” he said, adding that he supported his ex-wife genuinely and hopes his children will one day understand his courage and know the truth.
Currently, Ravi Mohan is involved in multiple projects. Among his upcoming films are Karathey Babu, a political drama where he plays an MLA, and 'Thani Oruvan 2', the sequel to his blockbuster 'Thani Oruvan'. He also has projects titled 'Genie' and 'SK25' in the pipeline.
