Jr NTR delivered the 2023 blockbuster 'Devera: Part 1' which was directed by Kortala Siva and starred Bollywood's Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, who made their Telugu debut. Now the movie is gearing up for its international grand release.
After its successful run last year, the movie is preparing for its grand release on March 28, 2025. The film, directed by Koratala Siva, will be screened in both regular and IMAX formats.
As per a 123Telugu report, Jr NTR accompanied by his wife Pranathi, was spotted at Bengaluru Airport, all set to fly to Japan. Upon arrival, he will participate in various promotional events and interact with fans. Meanwhile, a special private preview of 'Devara: Part 1' was held in Japan, receiving an overwhelmingly positive response. This enthusiasm has increased expectations for the film's official release, with fans awaiting Jr NTR's interactions and special moments during his visit.
Jr NTR's fan base in Japan has grown exponentially since 'RRR'. The film became a cultural phenomenon, breaking records with its epic storyline and powerful performances.

'Devara: Part 1' grossed over Rs 421 crore worldwide as per a Sacnilk report. The movie is about Devara and Bhaira, who start as friends in a group of four villages near the Red Sea. Devara is portrayed as a righteous man, while Bhaira is more ruthless. They loot ships together, but Devara discovers that the consignments contain illegal weapons used for terror attacks and decides to stop the robberies. Devara's decision leads to conflict with Bhaira, and he becomes a vigilante, working with the Indian Coast Guard to thwart Bhaira's men.

The sequel of the film, 'Devara 2', is expected to begin filming next year.
