Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram got married a few years ago, blending two different cultures. Randeep is a Jaat from Haryana, and Lin is from Manipur. They tied the knot in Imphal with a wedding that followed traditional Manipuri customs.
A Cultural Union in Imphal
The actor revealed that he never intended to get married, as his difficult school years made him feel he didn’t want someone else to face a similar experience. However, he shared that meeting Lin changed his perspective, and though he married later in life, he’s glad their paths crossed.

Facing Family and Social Challenges
On Shubhankar Mishra’s podcast, Randeep spoke about the challenges he faced before his wedding. He shared that his family initially had concerns about him marrying outside their caste, which is a common expectation in Jaat families. However, those issues eventually eased. Despite the tense situation in Manipur, he chose to hold the wedding there to honour his wife Lin Laishram’s culture and show respect to her family.

Security at the Wedding
The 'Jaat' actor ensured tight security for his wedding in Manipur with support from the army. He and nine family members stayed at an army brigadier’s residence. With only 10 guests from his side, they were escorted everywhere, and the security presence was even larger than the wedding guests.
Not approached for Kick 2
Meanwhile, Randeep recently revealed that he hasn’t been approached for Salman Khan's Kick 2. He mentioned that Salman had previously told him they were considering him for the role, but there has been no official offer yet.
