But Kesari 2 is a courtroom drama that followed the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. It tells the real-life story of C. Sankaran Nair, who took on the British Empire in court. Akshay Kumar plays the role of Nair in the film.
As the film releases and is getting rave reviews, it has already being leaked online. According to reports, the film has already been linked on pirated movie websites in different quality formats.
This has happened despite the fact that Akshay had requested his fans at an event in the presence of the media that people should keep their phones away in the film. "I humbly request you all to please keep your phones in your pockets and listen to every dialogue of this film. It will mean a lot. If you check your Instagram during the movie, it will be a humiliation for the film. So I request everyone to keep their phones away," he had said.
