Bigg Boss fame Yamini Malhotra has extended her support to Babil Khan, son of the late legendary actor Irrfan Khan, after his emotional breakdown went viral on social media. The Railway Men actor had recently posted a raw and teary-eyed video, calling Bollywood “the fakest industry” he’s ever been part of, which triggered widespread debate and reactions online.During a recent event, Yamini Malhotra was asked to share her thoughts on the incident involving Babil. Showing empathy and understanding, she responded with compassion and called for more kindness in how the public reacts to such vulnerable moments.“I think sometimes there are some really depressing moments in life where you have a breakdown,” Yamini said. “I think it was a similar moment for him. Let’s not judge him and let’s try to understand his sentiments and situations, because we all have such a nightmare of a time in our lives when we break down. Unfortunately, in his case, he came online and that’s why everybody started judging him.”She further added, “Let’s support him. He is the son of a legendary personality who has left a special mark during his lifetime, and Babil too is doing really well now as an actor. I wish Babil all the best.”Babil Khan’s video, posted on May 4, mentioned that Bollywood is “the most fakest, fakest, fakest industry” he’s ever encountered. He also acknowledged that some people are genuinely trying to make the industry better. Soon after the video gained traction, Babil deactivated his Instagram account. However, his team later clarified that his words were taken out of context and that his intent was to express both frustration and admiration for the evolving film industry.Meanwhile, Yamini Malhotra recently wrapped up shooting for her Bollywood debut, Chill Maar Na Bro.
