MWC 2025: HMD launches four phones, including one with a detox mode

HMD Global, the Finnish mobile phone manufacturer, launched four phones, showcasing its commitment to “human-first” technology and digital wellbeing. The company unveiled two feature phones, the HMD 130 and 150 Music, alongside two smartphones designed in partnership with FC Barcelona, the HMD Barça 3210 and HMD Barça Fusion.

The company says that its HMD 130 and HMD 150 Music feature phones cater to the growing demand for simpler devices with long battery life and essential features. Both phones offer up to a month of standby time, Bluetooth 5.0, microSD card support, and an integrated FM radio, as per HMD.
While HMD 130 has a dual torch at the top, HMD 150 swaps it for a QVGA camera with a torch. The HMD 130 is available in Dark Grey, Blue and Red and HMD 150 Music colours include Dark Grey, Midnight Purple and Aqua Blue.

The HMD Barça 3210, a reimagining of the classic Nokia 3210, is designed for distraction-free game time. It features a retro design, long battery life and notably, no social media apps. The HMD Barça Fusion, on the other hand, is a modern smartphone with a unique "detox mode" and customisable "smart outfits" that change the device's appearance and functionality.
Known for reviving classic Nokia phones, HMD Global is expanding its focus to address the growing need for healthier digital habits. The HMD Barça Fusion, a collector's edition smartphone designed for FC Barcelona fans. This mode allows users to silence notifications and minimize distractions, encouraging a more mindful approach to technology usage.
The HMD Fusion Smart Outfit is a collector’s item that comes with the HMD Fusion. The Outfit is engraved with 11 FC Barça players signatures: Marc-André ter Stegen, Robert Lewandowski, Jules Koundé, Raphinha, Dani Olmo, Pedri, Gavi, Fermín Lopez, Pau Cubarsí, Marc Casadó and Lamine Yamal.
The signatures glow in the dark when exposed to UV light. The device comes preloaded with a special set of Barça visuals, themed sounds, greetings from top players and a choice of alarm sounds from players such as Lewandowski, De Jong, Eric García, Fermín, Gavi and Iñígo Martínez saying ‘Hola Culers’. It also gets the official FC Barcelona app.
